Glass tubes can generally be divided into four types:
1. Ordinary glass tubes, used in laboratories and other similar settings;
2. Chemical glass tubes, typically made of borosilicate glass, possessing good thermal stability and corrosion resistance. They are transparent, easy to clean, have low flow resistance, and are affordable. However, their pressure resistance is relatively poor, making them prone to damage. Suitable for applications with rapid temperature changes ranging from -30℃ to +130℃, with a maximum temperature not exceeding 80℃.
3. Neutral glass tubes
4. High borosilicate glass tubes

This is a transparent borosilicate glass with excellent chemical durability, heat resistance, and impact resistance. It is commonly used in the manufacture of ampoules, vials, syringes, and other pharmaceutical containers, as well as test tubes and other physicochemical containers. Made of Type I glass, it conforms to the pharmaceutical glass container standards stipulated in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, the United States Pharmacopoeia, and the European Pharmacopoeia. Sealed tubes with closed ends are also available. Glass tubing for pharmaceutical and chemical applications, meeting various needs. Main applications include ampoules, vials, and test tubes.
